A Saint in our Midst

Last weekend, Jon Paul and I - along with our good friends Joe and Erica (and Thomas and Rosemarie), had the honor and priveledge of attending an ordination. What a specatular experience!

Brother Nathan Cromly, now Father Nathan, is, without a doubt in my mind, a saint.

Why? He is the most humble person I have ever met (Mass readings today). He knows exactly what to say at exactly the right time. He spends every second of his life doing the ministry of God's work, and now, he has the priviledge of doing His work in a much more intimate way, which will, I'm positive, only confirm his seat in heaven...

And yes, Jon Paul and I were able to recieve a blessing from him (which was totally amazing) and able to attend and witnes the first time he celebrated Mass. What a blessing for us, indeed!

We just met Father Nathan this weekend. He was on an Eagle Eye retreat with some young folks at Cook Forest State Park in Northwestern PA when they encountered some wet weather. They had heard about our farm so called and stayed overnight...in the barn! (Except for the 2 nuns.) We had a wonderful and spirit-filled time. We made arrangements for Father Nathan to celebrate Mass at our parish in Fryburg, PA.

God bless!
